Claudio Sanchez Molina

Claudio Sanchez Molina, 52, passed away March 31, 2022, in rural Stafford County, Kan. He was born on Oct. 30, 1969, in Cerro Mocho, Tula, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Bernardino Sanchez Posadas and Marciana Molina Sustita. He married Daria Hernandez de Sanchez on June 7, 1987 at Matamoros del Tamaulipas, Mexico.  

Claudio graduated from CBTIS in Victoria, Mexico. He was an oil rig operator for various oilfield companies in Kansas. He enjoyed dancing, playing poker, visiting casinos, working and listening to music. Claudio had a strong voice but a very humble and caring heart. He was always attentive and willing to help others. Claudio was an amazing man, wonderful husband, father, grandfather and will be irreplaceable.  

Survivors include, his wife, Daria Hernandez de Sanchez of the home; his children, Blanca E. Ortiz and her husband Ulysses, Claudio G. Sanchez and his wife Alex Lea, Darien B. Sanchez and his wife Ruth Gonzalez and Jesus E. Sanchez all of Great Bend; his brothers and sisters, Arcadia, Tomas, Teodora, Victor Manuel, Bernarda, Felicitas, Candelario, Maria, Alfonso, Margarita, Sabino, Flora, Leobardo and Dominga Sanchez Molina; and his grandchildren, Dominic U. Ortiz, Bella M. Ortiz, Gabriel E. Espino, Freyja A. Sanchez, Claudio O. Sanchez and Violeta A. Sanchez. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2022 at Bryant Funeral Home, with Vigil service at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend, with Father Prakash Kola presiding. Interment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery North. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net
