Coralie Jeannine Button, 92, passed away Feb. 10, 2021, at Salina Regional Health Center. She was born Jan. 2, 1929, at Bazine, to Leo and Anna (Cornelssen) Niedens. She married Robert “Bob” Button April 21, 1999. He died Oct. 30, 2020. 

A Great Bend resident since 1968, Coralie was a second grade teacher for USD 428 at Washington and EE Morrison Elementary Schools. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, BCAC board member, Sigma Alpha Iota and Delta Kappa Gamma Parnussus. Coralie enjoyed quilting and was a wonderful cook. She especially loved spending time with her family.  

Survivors include, a son, Steven Murphy of Great Bend; a daughter, Kathleen Asher of Derby; a sister, Marjorie Miller; three grandchildren, Amanda Pfenninger and husband Scott, Taylor Murphy and Will Asher; two great grandchildren, Liam Pfenninger and Owen Pfenninger; two stepsons, Robert “Rob” Button and wife RoAnn and Randy Button and wife Renee, all of Great Bend; two stepdaughters, Debra Sue Hill and husband Bill of Bountiful, Utah, and Judy VonFeldt and husband Jim of Larned; ten step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert “Bob” Button; and two grandchildren, Angela Murphy and Brian Murphy. 

Friends may sign the register book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, at Bryant Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Pastor Barbara Jones presiding. Masks and social distancing are required. Private Family Interment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery. Memorials have been designated to the Golden Belt Humane Society or Trinity Lutheran Church, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
