Danelda Sarah St. Aubyn 1932 - 2017


Danelda Sarah St. Aubyn, 84, died June 22, 2017, at Pleasant View Home in Inman. She was born Oct. 9, 1932, at Russell County, the daughter of Guy Edgar and Lydia (DeWald) St. Aubyn. A Great Bend resident for 60 years, Miss St. Aubyn was a first grade teacher at Riley Elementary School, retiring in 1992.
Miss St. Aubyn was a member of First United Methodist Church, Delta Kappa Gamma Iota Chapter, United Methodist Women, Barton County Association of Retired School Personnel, Barton County League of Women Voters and Pilot Club, all of Great Bend.
Survivors include nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard St. Aubyn and Charles St. Aubyn, and six sisters, Betty Dillon, Hattie “Peggy” Ehrlich, Norma Munday, Kathryn St. Aubyn, Bertha Dwinelle and Irene St. Aubyn.
Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, at First United Methodist Church in Great Bend, with the Rev. Lenard Maxwell officiating. Burial has taken place in the Russell City Cemetery, Russell. There will be no visitation. Memorials have been established with First United Methodist Church, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
