Danny F. Renfro, 60, died July 28 at Hospice House in Hutchinson. He was born Dec. 26, 1950, at Great Bend, to Willard Francis and Waunita Lucille (Moore) Renfro. He married Karen Sue Miller on July 22, 1992, at Great Bend. She died Aug. 24, 2010. A lifetime Great Bend resident, he worked in the oilfield.

Mr. Renfro was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, Great Bend. He served in the army during the Vietnam War.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, muscle cars, riding motorcycles and watching a good Western movie.

Survivors include a son, Craig Anthony Renfro, of Hays; a brother, Willard Renfro and wife Linda of Great Bend; and a grandson, Noah Renfro.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bryant Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Doyle Smith officiating. Interment will be at the Great Bend Cemetery, with military honors by the Fort Riley Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. Sunday, with family receiving friends from 7-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorial donations to Barton County Relay for Life can be made in care of the funeral home.
