Dean Eric Golling, 44, passed away at his home in Great Bend on Dec. 18. He was born Dec. 20, 1966, at Los Angeles, Calif., to Theodore Eric and Elinor Bertha (Haley) Golling. He grew up in the San Diego area, and also lived in the Provo, Utah, area for a number of years, prior to moving to Great Bend about a year ago.
Mr. Golling was a long-time member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and was an advocate for and supporter of the Kansas Disability Caucus.
Survivors include two brothers: Miles Alan Overstreet of Lehi, Utah, and Harold Wayne Overstreet of Barling, Ark.; two sisters: Diane Sue Golling and Linda Sue Golling, both of California; and several nieces and nephews.
According to his wishes, Dean’s body has been cremated and inurnment will take place next to his mother in Utah at a later date. There will be no local services.
