ARNED — Debra Gayle Harbert, 51, died March 14 at her home in Larned. She was born Jan. 17, 1963, in Larned, the daughter of James Edward Sr. and Virginia Lee Woelk Smith. A longtime area resident, she was the co-owner and manager of Guy’s Liquor Store. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Larned. On June 20, 1992, she married Guy Harbert in Larned. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Cody Harbert, Larned; a daughter, Deserae Caldwell, Larned; three brothers, Gregory Smith, James (Bub) Smith Jr. and Steven Smith, all of Larned; a sister, Sheri Kendall, Lenexa; two grandchildren, A.J. and Dakotah Wise, both of Larned.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Julie Smith.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, with Rev. Mark Lovett presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Beckwith Mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Debra’s grandchildren’s educational fund, in care of Beckwith Mortuary., Box 477 Larned, KS 67550.
