ODIN — Delores Frances Frenzl, 91, died August 2, 2018, at Riverbend Assisted Living, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born April 2, 1927, in Olmitz, Kansas, the daughter of John J. and Judith (Mater) Schneider. Delores was a 1945 graduate of Great Bend High School.
Delores was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and St. Ann’s Altar Society of Odin, Kansas. On October 5, 1949, she married Leo Frederick Frenzl at St. Ann Catholic Church, Olmitz, Kansas.
Delores worked alongside Leo on the farm in Odin, where they resided for 65 years. They had a love of attending auctions where she collected friends along with her chickens.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Leo Frenzl and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gerald Frenzl, a brother, Martin Schneider, and two sisters, Mildred Reif, and Marie Demel.
Friends may call 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday with Vigil and Rosary led by the Altar Society at 7 p.m., all at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2018, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Odin, Kansas, with Father Don Bedore presiding. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
