LA CROSSE — Dennis R. Schuckman, 72, La Crosse, died Dec. 21, 2015, at his home. He was born Sept. 28, 1943, in Liebenthal, the son of Rudolph H. and JoAnn (Basgall) Schuckman. On July 2, 1962, he married Dorothy (Dotti) E. Teater at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, La Crosse. He was a lifetime resident of Rush County.
Mr. Schuckman was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, La Crosse. He enjoyed fishing and playing horseshoes.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Douglas (Natalie) Schuckman of Gilbert, South Carolina, and Darrin Schuckman of La Crosse; four daughters, Denise (Kevin) Fisher of Sedalia, Missouri, Debbie Schuckman of Buhler, Deana Schuckman of Avilla, Indiana, and Darci Davidson of Sidney, Nebraska; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Linda Pettitt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant brother, Joseph Schuckman, and two infant sisters, Renea Schuckman and Paula Schuckman.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 26, at Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse, with Brother Terry Warner  officiating. Inurnment will be at La Crosse City Cemetery.
