Diana Grace Trimmer 1961 - 2013

Diana Grace Trimmer, 52, passed away July 22, at Great Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness. She was born Feb. 7, 1961 at St Rose Hospital in Great Bend, the daughter of Hazel Grace Johnson and Joseph Delaine Levingston. The oldest of four siblings, Diana grew up in Pawnee Rock and attended Pawnee Rock High School. She married John Dixon Trimmer June 10, 1976. They adopted 12 children and lived in the rural Great Bend area. As a wife, mother, sister, and advocate, Diana dedicated her life to helping children in need, family, and friends.
She is survived by husband John; children Joseph, JoePaul, Timothy, Melissa, Heather, Tonya, Joshua, Audrey, Christina, Virginia, Ian, and Mathew; 14 grandchildren; parents Hazel Grace and Delaine; sisters Sherry Doonan and Susan Lippert; brother Robert Levingston; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on West 10th, with Pastor Jim Martin presiding. Inurnment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery North. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given to Rosewood Roots and Wings Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
