ELLINWOOD — Dianna Louise (Lynch) Teeter, 82, passed away Feb. 27, 2022 in Ellinwood, Kan. She was born April 23, 1939 in Kansas City, Mo. to Frank and Martha Elizabeth (Shutts) Lynch. She graduated from Turner High School in Kansas City, Kan. in 1957 and married Jack Andrew Teeter on Aug. 17, 1957 in Brenner Ridge, Kansas City, Mo. They moved to Great Bend, Kan. in 2015.
She worked in the cafeteria at Turner Grade School and for Gear for Sports both in Kansas City, Kan. She had a passion for animals and animal rescue. She was a member of the Heartland Dalmatian Club of Kansas City.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jack, of Great Bend; daughters, Martha Ann Socolofsky, Topeka, Kan., Tammy Sturn (John), Ellinwood, Jane Spuehler (Michael), Independence, Mo.; brother David Lynch (Linda) Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and grandchildren Jason Socolofsky, Justin Socolofsky, Lainie Sturn, Lauren Spare, Eli Sturn, Brandon Spuehler, and Heidi Hood; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Memorials are suggested to the Golden Belt Humane Society in Great Bend in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 246, Ellinwood, KS 67526.
