Dianne Marie Willesden, 70, passed away April 17, 2024, at her home in Great Bend. She was born Nov. 3, 1953, in Cushing, Okla., the daughter of Ralph and Eloise (Grow) Dolezal. Dianne married Robert William Willesden, II., June 23, 1979, in Great Bend. He died April 25, 2023.
Dianne, a long-time resident of Great Bend, was a professional bookkeeper working many years for Carl Boxberger Oil, Co., and later operating Willesden Bookkeeping and Willesden Finishing Touches. She was an active member of Faith Community Church, Pilot Club, Golden Belt Community Concert Association, Encounter Church, Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA), Women of Valor, and Kiowa Gun Club. In Dianne’s spare time, she enjoyed Philanthropic endeavors, crafting, and her new-found calling, dog sitting.
Survivors include her children, Brian Ewing of Great Bend, Brandy Gaddis and husband Mark of Wichita, Robert W. Willesden, III, and wife Debbie of Hoisington, Tiffany Nily and husband David of Great Bend, and Aimee Farris and husband Bill of East Troy, Wisc.; one brother, William Dolezal, Sr., and wife Joleen of Beatrice, Neb.; 16 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Robert William Willesden, II.; and by a brother Randy Dolezal.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2024, at Faith Community Church in Great Bend, with Pastor Sandy Kennedy presiding. Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 25, with the family present to receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., all at Bryant Funeral Home.
