Donald P. “Don” Renchko, age 67 years of Great Bend, Kan. passed away at his home in Great Bend on Aug. 6, 2024. Don was born on Oct. 23, 1956 at Los Angeles, Calif. to Steven and Dorothy (Marvel) Renchko. He was a caregiver for his mother in her later years, and after moving to Great Bend in October of 2017 he worked nights at Walmart in Great Bend unloading freight and stocking shelves. Don loved to make bricks from scratch for landscaping, and enjoyed walking and bike riding.

Survivors include two sisters Stephanie (and Patrick) McCormick of Florida and Susanne K. Welcher of Great Bend; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Don was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has been chosen and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date to be announced. The family has requested that Memorial Contributions in Don’s memory be made in care of the family for later designation.
