Dorothy Darlene Morrow, 85, passed away December 2, 2019, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita. She was born on August 11, 1934, at Chanute, to Harry & Beulah (Mahon) Scott. She married Jack E. Morrow on May 4, 1957 at Grove, Oklahoma. He died August 3, 1992.

A Great Bend resident since 1963 coming from Emporia, Dorothy was a Surgical Aide at CKMC for 33 years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Great Bend, RSVP, Friends of the Library and Club 1 Fitness. She loved to volunteer at many different places, but loved helping with the blood drives. She was an avid reader and especially loved spending time with her family.  

Survivors include, one son, Scott Morrow of Great Bend; one daughter, Tami Strobel and husband Albert of Great Bend; two brothers, Harold Scott of Bakersfield, CA and Kenneth Scott of Chanute; one sister, Evelyn Allison and husband Ron of Chanute; and two grandchildren, Evan Strobel and Sydney Strobel. She was preceded in death by her parents. 

The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2019, at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2019, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Great Bend, with Pastor Seong Lee presiding. Inurnment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery.
