Duane D. Pedigo, born on June 29, 1929, passed away on July 20, 2026 at the Kansas Soldiers Home at Fort Dodge.

Duane enjoyed church playing guitar, singing and road trips with Twilla. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors include Twilla Sherwood, his significant other; his children, Sharon Hill (Vernon), Vicky Young (Mike), Debbie Becker (Wayne), Darrell Pedigo (Toni), Kenny Pedigo (Janita, and Tammy Stevenson (John); 26 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 27, 2026 at the Great Bend Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by KSARNG Military Honors and SWKS Veteran Funeral Honor Guard. Memorial donations are suggested to the Kansas Soldiers Home Activity Fund in Care of Swaim Funeral Chapel.
