E. Wayne Vanaman, 59, died Dec. 28 at Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend.  Born Feb. 14, 1953 at Great Bend, he was the son of Ernest Junior and Marian (Davies) Vanaman.  
Wayne married Heather E. Harris Aug. 18, 2000, in Great Bend.  She survives.  A lifetime Great Bend resident, Wayne was a roughneck and plumber.
Survivors include his wife, Heather E. Vanaman, of the home; two sons: Ryan Wayne Vanaman of Lamont, Okla.., and Mark Edwin Vanaman of Great Bend; one daughter: Ashley Freedom Vanaman of Great Bend; one sister: Diana McGinty of Great Bend; one brother: Tom Vanaman and wife Sandy of Lamont, Okla., and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Vanaman.
Memorial Funeral Service will be Tuesday, Jan. 1, at 2:00 p.m. at First Street Church of God, Hoisington, with Rev. Dick Ogle officiation.  There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.  Memorials may be made to the E.
