AURORA, Colo. — Earl Wesley Burroughs passed away on March 12, in Centennial, Colo.  Born on Feb. 9, 1933, in Lyons, he was the son of Merle Burroughs and Ruth Burroughs. On June 7, 1956, he married Betty June Phipps.
Survivors include two brothers, Clarence Burroughs and Dale Burroughs (Mildred); a sister Connie Wickstrom (Larry); a daughter Anita Burroughs; four grandchildren, Jeniffer Tirrell, Ryan Wamsley, Erica St. James, Drew St. James; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; daughter, Sandra Wamlsey; sister, Leora Harrell; and brother, Everett Burroughs.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on  Wednesday at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood, with Pastor David Wesner officiating. Burial will follow at Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery in Ellinwood.
