HOLYROOD — Edith B. Schultz, 89, died Dec. 31 in Ellsworth. She was born, June 16, 1921, in Holyrood, to Frederick and Amanda (Cushman) Schepmann.

She was a homemaker, a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, LWML, Ladies Aide and American Legion Auxiliary, all of Holyrood, and Femmes of the 40/8.

On Oct. 15, 1946, she married Henry J. Schultz in Holyrood, he survives. Other survivors include three sons, Arlen and wife Karli, and Kevin and wife Deborah, all of Holyrood, and Loren and wife Doreen of Hoisington; a brother, Nathan F. Schepmann of Pratt; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Holyrood, with burial following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. today at Parsons Funeral Home in Ellsworth, with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Church Cemetery Fund or the Lutheran Hour, in care of the funeral home.
