Edna M. Horner, 90, died  Aug. 26, 2013 at Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend. She was born April 13, 1923 at Penokee, the daughter of Albert Eugene and Hazel Ruth (Paxson) Stewart.
Mrs. Horner was a Great Bend resident since 1951, coming from Ellsworth. She married Ralph Andrew Horner Aug. 30, 1942 at Salina.  He died Feb. 7, 2008. She was a seamstress for Distinctive Drapery of Great Bend. She was a member of Community of Christ, formerly the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons: Albert Horner and wife Terri of Great Bend and Jerry Horner and wife Jerri of Great Bend; two daughters: Carolyn Oetken and husband Dellane of Albert, and Hazel Crane of Great Bend; 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Melvin Stewart, one sister, Ruth Snapp, and one son-in-law, Danny Crane.
Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday at Bryant Funeral Home with The Reverend Dr. Scott V. Solether officiating. Inurnment is at Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend. There is no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the Great Bend Evening Lions Club or First Presbyterian Church, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
