Elizabeth Ann Homer-Siemers 1926 - 2015

Elizabeth Ann Homer-Siemers, 88, passed away Jan. 4, at Cherry Village Care Home in Great Bend. Born Oct. 22, 1926, in St. John, she was the daughter of John B. and Erma H. (Headding) Kendall. A resident of Great Bend since 1983, coming from San Jose, Calif., she was a retired grocery clerk. On June 1, 1945, she married Glenden Earl Homer in San Francisco, Calif. He preceded her in death.  
Survivors include a daughter, Glenda Ann Brack (Keith), of Albert; a sister, Kitty Lou Brack (Wendell), of Liberal; grandchildren, Pamela Harper (Ernie) of Farmington, N.M., and David R. Brack and Jeffrey Brack (Ashley), both of Otis; a great-granddaughter, Aydan Harper of Farmington, N.M.; three nephews; and two nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother William Buckner Kendall, II.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Minnis Chapel in St. John with the Rev. Garry Dassow presiding. Burial will follow at the Fairview Park Cemetery in St. John. Visitation will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Our Savior Lutheran Church or American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
