HUTCHINSON — Elmer Earl Thompson “Earl”, 75, of Attica Long Term Care (ALTC), passed away, Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Wesley ICU in Wichita Kan. Earl was born Nov. 14, 1948 in Hardtner, Kan. to Donald and Willa Mae (Sexson) Thompson. 

Earl worked in the oilfield as a truck driver for companies such as RC Williams and DaMac Drilling.

Earl is survived by his wife, Wanda of Attica Long Term Care.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held April 6, 2024, at 10 a.m. at The First Christian Church Medicine Lodge, 300 S. Main St. Medicine Lodge, KS. with Pastor Tom Walters officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date at the Isabel, Kan. Cemetery. Memorials may be made to VFW or First Christian Church Medicine Lodge, KS. and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, Ks 67502.
