LARNED — Elsie K. Jones died Dec. 29, 2015, at the Diversicare of Larned. She was born at Timken.
On May 15, 1969, she married Ernest D. Jones at Alva, Okla. He passed away on May 22, 1998.
Mrs. Jones was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar Society, of Larned.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews; and great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank J. and Catherine B. Bouchal Lapka; a sister, Mary Seeman; and seven brothers, Josef, Charles, Frank, James, John, Thomas and Joseph.
Funeral Mass will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Larned with Father Warren Stecklein presiding. Burial will be at the Larned Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Beckwith Mortuary. Memorials may be given to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in care of the funeral home.
