COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. — Esther Rosena (Rankin) Pechanec, 99, of Colorado Springs, Colo., passed away Oct. 25, 2016, in Colorado Springs. She was born Jan. 15, 1917, in Pawnee Rock. On Dec. 26, 1945, she married William John Pechanec. He passed away March 2, 1956.
Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn A. Polis, Downingtown Pa., and Adele M. Rundles and her husband Donald, of Poteau, Okla.; five grandsons, Tom Polis Jr. and wife Ashley, Landenberg Pa., Bill Polis and wife Mary, Landenberg, Pa., John Rundles and wife Greta, Northport Ala., James Rundles and wife Janie, Hooker Okla., Mark Rundles and wife Tammi, Tuscaloosa Ala.; and nine great grandchildren, Evan, Aiden, Rowan and Alexis Polis, and Parker, Camden, Paitlyn, Clark and Casey Rundles. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Polis, a granddaughter, Kara Rundles, six sisters, one brother and a son-in-law, Thomas J. Polis.
Visitation will be 10-11:30 am, Wednesday, Nov. 2, at Bryant Funeral Home, with graveside services following at noon at Holy Cross Cemetery, Timken.
