ST. JOHN — Eutemia “Ruth” Mace, 78, joined Our Heavenly Father on Saturday July 9, 2011. 
Ruth was born to Paul and MaryAnn Garcia on February 16, 1933 in New Mexico. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Ruth was married to Charles “Tommy” Mace March 3, 1983 in Bonham, Texas. Ruth loved to spend time with her family. She was an avid reader who loved to travel and fish.
Ruth is survived by her spouse, three daughters, a son, 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, Randy, her mother and father, and three sisters. 
Services are scheduled at 3 p.m. Sunday July 17 at First Southern Baptist Church, 107 W. 2nd Ave. in St. John.  In lieu of flowers,, the family has requested that memorials be made to First Southern Baptist Church or Southwind Hospice, 495 Yucca Lane, Pratt KS, 67124.
