WELLINGTON — Evelyn Fairy DeYoe, 83, died Sunday, Nov. 24, at Lakepoint Nursing and Rehab Center in Wichita.  Born Jan. 31, 1930, in Wichita, she was the daughter of William and Evalena (Fields) Gasswint.     
On June 5, 1949 she married Pierre “Perry” DeYoe at Wellington. He died January 26, 2013.  She was a homemaker, and a foster parent.  She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church at Pratt.
She is survived by a brother, Stanley (Betty) A. Gasswint, Mesa, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Josie Gasswint, Colton, Calif.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and foster children.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Linda DeYoe, a sister, Harriet Crittenden, and three brothers, Alfie, Fred, and Willis.
 Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, at the Sumner Memorial Gardens, Wellington, with Pastor John Bliss officiating.
