Evelyn “Sally” Medlock, 81, passed away Dec. 21, 2023, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kan. She was born May 18, 1942, in Hoisington, to William and Clara (Zirnich) Krestine, Sr. Sally married William “Dennis” Medlock Aug. 17, 1978. Dennis passed away June 3, 2012.

Sally, a long-time resident of Great Bend coming from Otis and Hoisington, was a member of Prince of Peace Parish and enjoyed crafts and fellowship with her friends.

Survivors include one son, William Medlock, II and his wife Chelsea of Raytown, Mo.; and six grandchildren, Gaea Medlock, Raica Medlock, River Medlock, Moia Medlock, Skyra Blackburn Crawford and Akia Blackburn. She was preceded in death by daughter, Marla Blackburn; three brothers, William “Bill” Krestine, Dewey Krestine and Lawrence Jerome Krestine; and three sisters, Celeste Krestine, Ramona Torrez and Evangeline “Sherry” Jobes.

Private services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Evelyn “Sally” Medlock Memorial Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS  67530. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed atwww.bryantfh.net
