GREAT BEND — Frances H. Pratt, 88, died Dec. 14, 2011 at Great Bend Regional Hospital.
She was born March 11, 1923 at High Point, N.C., the daughter of Walter and Ethel (Scott) Dennis.
She married Charles Wayne Pratt June 30, 1945 at Chester, S.C. He died March 19, 1999.
She was a homemaker. Mrs. Pratt was a Great Bend resident since 2001, coming from Hoisington. She was a member of First Assembly of God, Great Bend. She enjoyed embroidering and shopping.
Survivors include two sons, Darrell Pratt, Hutchinson; and Donald Pratt and his wife Lori, Grand Prairie, Texas; a daughter, Brenda Kultgen and her husband Joe, Great Bend; a sister, Lois Rosdahl, Winston-Salem, N.C.; five grandchildren, Keith Kultgen and his wife Michelle; Kayla Clanton and her husband Aaron; Mandy Ziegler and her husband Joe; Becky Jinright and her husband Matt; and Jeramie Pratt and his wife Jessica; 10 great-grandchildren, Ryan Kultgen, Christopher Kultgen, Chelsea Clanton, Shelby Clanton, Kyle Ziegler, Brandon Pratt, Bradley Jinright, David Jinright, Jordan Pratt, and Jaxson Pratt; and a great-great-grandson, Jett Kern.
She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Kathy Pratt; two sisters, Dorothy Ward and Betty Walton; and three brothers, Roy Dennis, Gracen Dennis, and Bobby Dennis.
A funeral service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Dozier officiating. Interment will be at the Hoisington Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, 415 N. Main, Hoisington.
Memorials can be sent the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Foundation, in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home.
