GREAT BEND — Garin Dean Arnold was born at 7:09 p.m. March 18 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He weighed 3 pounds 8 ounces and was 16 inches long. After meeting his mommy and daddy, Garin went directly to the NICU. In his time, he was amazingly cared for by his nurses and doctors.
On March 21, at 7:11 a.m., Jesus called the beautiful baby boy home, out of his parents’ loving arms and into his. Garin was dear to our hearts and very loved during his time, even by some who he never met.
Survivors include his mother, Lottie Johnson; father, Stephen Michael Arnold, Jr.; grandparents Debra and Stephen Arnold, Jill Johnson and David Thompson; and great-grandparents, Bonnie Arnold and G.W. and Lois Thompson; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and family.
A memorial service is scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, April 1 at First Assembly of God Church on Patton Road, Great Bend, with Mother Phyllis Flory and Pastor Dwight Dozier officiating.
Anyone attending the service is asked to bring a helium filled balloon to release after the service.
