EMPORIA — Gary L. Smiley, 72, died Dec. 12, 2013 at Newman Regional Health, Emporia.
A memorial service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bethel Baptist Church, Emporia conducted by Pastor Joe Tuttle. Cremation is planned with inurnment, at a later date, at Pawnee Rock Cemetery.
Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home is in charge of services.
