GROVE, Okla. — Gary Ray Keesling, age 75, of Grove, Okla. went to be with Our Lord and Savior on Monday, Aug. 16, 2021. Gary was born Nov. 11, 1945 in Grinnell, Kan., to Ray and Nadine (Rueschhoff) Keesling. He graduated from Great Bend High School and served in the United States Army, before attending Fort Hays State University.
Gary lived in Derby, Kan. for several years before moving to a house he designed and built with his own hands in Grove in 2002. He married Maria Welch in April, 2007. He was very active in service to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Grove.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Welch-Keesling of Grove; sisters, Connie and Tim Coleman of Salina, Kan.; Denise and Mike Brull of Hays, Kan.; his brother Randy Keesling of Derby, Kan.; daughter Jenna and Ryan Seddon, of Pueblo, Colo.; and son Jared Keesling and Dena Stewart, of Wichita, Kan.; and one granddaughter, Leah. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Wake/Rosary service at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. Visitation following at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Grove. Burial following at the Olympus Cemetery in Grove. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Elizabeth/parish improvements. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com.
