FORSYTH, Mo. — Gayle Louise Bavuso, 66, of Forsyth, Mo., passed away on Dec. 26, 2015, at her residence with her family at her side.
Born Sept. 14, 1949, in Olney, Ill., she was the daughter of Donald and Louise (Laughton) Gray. Gayle grew up in Ellinwood, and married Kenneth Bavuso on May 16, 1970. In 1996, the couple moved to Forsyth, Mo., where they became members of the Community Presbyterian Church in Forsyth. Gayle was the Office Manager for Dr. Reed Click and, formerly, the Assistant City Clerk in Rockaway Beach, Mo.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Bavuso, of Forsyth, Mo.; two children, Antonio Bavuso (Julie) of Liberty, Mo., and Angelina VanZant (Phillip) of Platte City, Mo.; five grandchildren, Julian, Abigail, Jorja, Jenna and John; and two sisters, Nancy Hammerschmidt (Roger) of Manhattan, and Ginger Jones of Odessa, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 1, at Community Presbyterian Church in Forsyth, Mo. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3322 S. Campbell Ave, Ste. R, Springfield, MO 65807 or to the Community Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 486, Forsyth, MO 65653.
