GREAT BEND – Gene Potts, 82, died April 17, 2013 at Ellinwood District Hospital.He was born April 25, 1930 at Pittsburg County, Okla., the son of William Arthur and Mona Mae (Cooley) Potts.He married Doris Peterson and they were later divorced. He married Delores Gagelman Fischer, July 1970 at Great Bend. He worked for Spruill Motors, was a self-employed contract pumper and a farmer.
