George Alan Winter, 81, passed away Jan. 5, 2021, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born Sept. 24, 1939, at Wichita to Edgar and Edna (Miller) Winter. He married Mary Lee Ryan Dec. 21, 1963, at Hays.  

Survivors include, his wife Mary Lee Winter; a daughter, Lisa Vance and husband Judd of Wichita; a son, Brad Winter; a sister, Arlene Anderson of McPherson; and two grandchildren, Sara Vance and Erin Vance. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 23, 2021, at Great Bend Cemetery with Pastor Dwight Dozier presiding. Memorials have been designated to Almost Home or Central Kansas Dream Center, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
