Georgia Spence, 87, died Dec. 9 at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born Feb. 9, 1924, at Purcell, Okla., she was the daughter of Roy and Luna (Clutz) Sims. She married Gordon Spence on Feb. 15, 1947, at Winfield. He died May 20, 1985. A lifetime Great Bend resident, she was former owner and operator of Dairy Queen, and was a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter, Patty Wagner of Great Bend; and two granddaughters, Tammi Wagner and Amy Stanford. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Jo Campbell.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at the Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend.
