HOLYROOD — Gerald W. Pauley, 88, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022, at his home in Holyrood, Kan. He was born April 1, 1934, in a home outside of Newtown in Putnam County, Mo. to Wade and Cora (Johnson) Pauley. He married Nadine Nowlin in Grundy County, Mo. on July 19, 1953. Gerald served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War and was a member of the Holyrood American Legion Post 200 and Free Masons. He was a longtime banker at the Bank of Holyrood. 

Gerald is survived by his wife Nadine Pauley of Holyrood; daughters, Karen Pauley of Holyrood, Carol Norris of Unionville, Mo., and Christina Oliver of Manassas, Va.; son Gary Pauley of Claflin; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and sister Sharon Jobe of Ashland, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Sarah Weber; brothers, Billy and William Pauley; and an infant sister.

A celebration of life service will take place from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at the Holyrood American Legion, 416 N. Main St., Holyrood, KS.
