LARNED  — Gilberta M. Forrest, 92, died Aug. 13, 2013 at the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned.
Born March 10, 1921, in Anthony, she was the daughter of Gilbert A. and Marie Schmidt Stiles.
On June 1, 1941, she married A. Ray Rusco at Alva, Okla. He passed away Sept. 26, 1959. She married Wayne Forrest in the early 70s. He passed away in 1999. She was a lifelong Argonia and Freeport resident, until she moving to Larned three years ago. She was a farm wife.
Mrs. Forrest was a member of the United Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
Survivors include, a daughter, Marilyn Rae Roth, Larned; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Rusco, Argonia; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Ray Rusco.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Freeport Cemetery, with Pastor Dale Mackinney presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Beckwith Mortuary in Larned.
