HOISINGTON — Gloria K Zamarripa, 66, died Jan. 24, 2015, at Clara Barton Hospital, Hoisington. She was born July 14, 1948, the daughter of Fred Ray and Alice (Rohr) Kincaid. Gloria married Frank Zamarripa April 4, 1964 at Great Bend.  He died May 6, 1989.
Mrs. Zamarripa was a Hoisington, Kansas resident since 2001, coming from Great Bend.
Gloria had been a kitchen supervisor at JJA Corrections in Larned, where she received the “Employee of the Year” in 2014. She was loved and respected by friends, family and co-workers.
Gloria enjoyed cooking and baking, being very passionate in sharing her gift with those she loved and cared for.
Survivors include her father, Fred Ray Kincaid, Larned; one son: Frank S. Zamarripa Jr. and wife Donita of Ellinwood; two daughters, Michele Zamarripa, and Misty Nichols and her companion Robert England, both of Hoisington; one sister, Sally Campbell of Wichita; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in passing by her mother.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend with the Rev. Dick Ogle, officiant. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Gloria K.
