LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Grace Imogene (Hathaway) Abel, 90, died May 12, 2015, at St. Rose Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born March 19, 1925, northwest of St. John, the daughter of John William and Reno (Kanzleiter) Hathaway.
In 1940 she married Eugene Abel in Beaver, Oklahoma. He died in 2011 in Las Vegas. When they lived in Phoenix, Arizona, she sold real estate.
Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Irene (Steve) Bentley of Las Vegas; grandson Billy (Caroline) Ruby of Las Vegas; sister Wilma Schuster of Great Bend; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by eight sisters and three brothers.
There will be no service as cremation has taken place.
