Gregory Alan Lee, 76, Topeka, Kansas, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024, at the House at Midland Care after a short illness. 

Greg was born April 11, 1947, to Schubert and Loreen Lee in Topeka, graduated from Hayden High School and earned his degrees from Washburn University and the KU School of Pharmacy. Greg was a Retail Pharmacist in Topeka for more than 50 years beginning at Super D Drug and ending his career at Dillon’s. 

Greg served his country in the Army National Guard.

Greg was a mentor and “problem solver” to many and enjoyed family and friends and attending the Hayden Class of ’65 Mini Reunions. He loved all sports, especially KU basketball and football, Chiefs football, and golfing with family and with his friend, Sid Sherman.

Greg will be deeply missed by his wife, Kristy Green; and his loving family, Mary Beth (Ethan) Shoemaker, Luke Shoemaker; John (Kelli) Shoemaker; Todd & Erin Shuford, Colton, Tyler, Harley (Hailey) and Emily; Amy & Jeff Teply, Emma and Ava; Stephanie (Travis) Meyer, Kolton, Brylie, Grayson and Landon; his sister, Maggie (Gregg) Reinhardt; brother, Jim (Sheri) Lee; mother-in-law, Lorraine Green; sister-in-law, Penny (Larry) Lister; brother-in-law, Robin (Kayla) Green; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and Terry Lee, Vicki Lee, and brothers, Bob and Karl Lee. 

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

In honor of Greg, please dress casually and wear your KU attire.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Helping Hands Humane Society or the House at Midland Care and sent in care of the funeral home.
