CLAFLIN — Greg Schulte, 55, died February 10, 2016, at his home in Claflin.
He was born June 14, 1960, in Pratt, the son of August and Barbara (Parr) Schulte.
Greg graduated from Russell High School. He worked in the meat department at Bailey’s Food Bin for the past 11 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved his son’s sports.
He is survived by; his wife of 20 years, Denise Schulte; five sons, Nathan Schulte and companion Tiffany Putz, Hays; Brent Schulte and wife Sara, Omaha, Neb.; Jake Schulte and wife Faryn, Manhattan; Jarett Schulte and wife Lesa, Ness City; and Trey Schulte, Claflin; a sister, Susan Regensberg and Wes, Hugoton; a nephew, David Gier; a grandson, Logan Schulte and three more grandbabies on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Barbara Schulte; and a sister, Debbie Gier.
Per Greg’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family would like to invite friends to join them in an informal luncheon at the Claflin United Methodist Church from noon to 3 p.m. Friday to share stories and celebrate Greg’s life.
