SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Gregory Dean McCoy, 49, of Springfield, Ill., formerly of Rochester, Ill., passed away on July 22, 2013 at his home.
Born Jan. 18, 1964 in Great Bend, he was the son of Ted and Colleen (Cluster) McCoy. In 1982 he graduated from Rochester High School. He attended Western Illinois University. Greg worked in the retail industry in Springfield, Ill. since 1985.
Survivors include his mother, Colleen; a brother, Brig McCoy of Kansas City Mo.; an aunt, Jeanine Lunsford of Great Bend; an uncle, David McCoy of Topeka; and numerous cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, from 6 p.m. until time of memorial services at 7 p.m. at the Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester, Ill. The Reverend Kathy Sweet will officiate graveside services being held at a later date in Great Bend.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
