LARNED — Helen M. Brown, 92, died Feb. 19, 2012 at the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned.
Born June 2, 1919 in Pawnee County, she was the daughter of Ira Gilbert and Clara S. Fenton Rainbolt.
A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker. On July 19, 1938, she married Wayne Oliver Brown in Jetmore.  He passed away on April 13, 1995.
Mrs. Brown was a member of the First Christian Church in Larned and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Niland, Calif.
Survivors include nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill Rainbolt, Alfred Rainbolt, Harold Rainbolt; and a sister, Viola Lynam.
Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be at the Garfield Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Garfield EMS in care of the funeral home.
