BUTTE, Mont. — Holly Sylvester Langer, 92, passed away Saturday Jan. 7, 2012 at his home, Marquis Vintage Suites, in Butte, Mont.  
Holly attended St. Francis Xavier Grade School in Seward, and graduated from Great Bend High School in May of 1938.  
Holly continued his education, graduating from Barnes School of Commerce in Denver, Colo. in 1940. He served his country in both the Navy and the Coast Guard. On May 11, 1946, Holly married Audree Jean Gerry.
Holly completed his education at UCLA in 1947. Holly joined Carter, Hawley, Hale in its accounting group eventually rising to the position of manager of planning and analysis before his retirement in 1985. (This company is a part of Macy’s today.)
Holly accomplished many things during his career. Holly was always very proud of his accomplishments and the inseparable couple enjoyed a full life in the Los Angeles area. In 1993, Holly asked Audree if she would like to return to her childhood home in Butte. His beloved wife, Audree, preceded him in death in August of 2004.
Holly is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Dolores and Marvin Ford, Great Bend; and a sister, Melba Mark, Maryland Heights, Mo.
Surviving nieces and nephews include, Holly Jean Weelborg, Maryland Heights, Mo.; Jay Weelborg, San Diego, Calif.; Shari Weelborg, San Francisco, Calif.; Debbie Weelborg, Maryland Heights, Mo.; Blake and Chauncey Ford, Hutchinson; Brenda and Joe Dreiling, Victoria; and Dana and Lynn Stasser, Mesa, Ariz.  Holly is also survived by his wife’s extended family, the Berminghams, Jennifer, Glenn and Ethel (Bermingham) Kellogg, Dan and Wendy, Doug and Clarey, Paul and Lorie and Lloyd.  
Holly’s remains will be at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Friday, Jan. 13 with visitation at 10 a.m. and funeral services to be conducted at 11 a.m. in Butte. Entombment will follow in the Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Butte.  
Memorials may be made to Frontier Home Health and Hospice, Holy Spirit Church or Our Lady of the Rockies.
