Irene Mildred Brady 1919 - 2014


ALBERT — Irene Mildred Brady, 95, died Sept. 18, 2014 at Rush County Memorial Hospital LTC in LaCrosse.
Born June 4, 1919, in rural Timken, she was the daughter of Charles Henry and Anna Christina (Folkerts) Hagerman. On May 12, 1942, she married Calvin Edwin Brady in Albert. He died on Jan. 11, 2013. A lifetime resident of Rush County, she was a homemaker and farmwife.
Mrs. Brady was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Albert, where she was an avid quilter, and member of PLCW. Irene also took great pride in cleaning the Church for eight years. She was also a member of the Albert Senior Citizen group and the Garfield Merry Matrons.
Survivors include two sons, Lee Brady and wife Jane and Dale Brady and wife Nancy, all of Albert; six grandchildren, Bret Brady and his wife Allison, Shannon DeWolf and her husband Mark, Brandy Maneth and her husband Michael, Kim Duran and her husband Paul, Trudy Cooley and her husband Darrell, and Charlene Regan and her husband Rick; 14 great-grandchildren, Garret Brady, Carly Brady, Morgan Brady, Raymond Cooley, Tommy Cooley, Arlen Cooley, Calvin Cooley, Colin Regan, Taylor Regan, Dalton Regan, Tristan Regan, Bryce Maneth, Kolton Maneth, Hannah Duran, and one expected in December; and son-in-law, Charles McClure of Goddard.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Arlene McClure; and five brothers, Fred, Elmer, Harold, Irven, and Lester Hagerman.
A Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at Bryant Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Peace Lutheran Church, south of Albert, with the Rev. Patricia Reep officiating. Burial will be at the Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery in Albert. Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
