HERMOSA BEACH, Calif. — Jack McClain, 91, died March 17, 2016. He was married to June Westervelt. She died in 2008. He began his career as an educator in Chandler, Ariz., and moved to California where he was an art teacher at Redondo Union High School. He retired in 1985.
Mr. McClain served in the Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his brother, Galen; a sister Shirley; and many nieces and nephews.
A Sea Hawks Family Tribute to Jack McClain was held on the RUHS Campus/base on April 2.
