ELLINWOOD — James A. “Andy” Fullbright, 57, passed away at Great Bend Regional Hospital on April 28, 2018. Born in Lyons, Kan. on April 6, 1961 he was the son of Lovell and Joyce (Andrews) Fullbright. A lifetime Ellinwood area resident Andy graduated from Ellinwood High School in 1979. Later he worked in the oil industry as a plant manager.
Andy was known to be a friend to all and a fun loving and caring person.
Survivors include brothers, Irlan (Virginia) Fullbright and Paul Fullbright (Marla Macy); sisters, Jeanie (Rick) Bunyard and Sherry (Rex) Roberson; nieces and nephews, Brad (Jodi) Fullbright, Jessica Bunyard, Paul (Lindsay) Bunyard, Amanda Fullbright (Rob Edwards), Angie Zink and Dani Zink. Other survivors include great nieces and nephews Emma, Payton, Korbyn, Libby, Cole, and Kolton. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two nephews, Alan Fullbright and Paul Fullbright Jr.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 3 at Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery in Ellinwood, Kan. with Pastor Tom Reazin officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 2 from 1-6 p.m. with family receiving friends from 4-6 p.m. at Minnis Chapel in Ellinwood.
