HUDSON — James Houston Brittain, 70, passed away May 22, 2016, in Hudson. Born on March 3, 1946, in Enid, Okla. he was the son of Claude Myers and Jesse Caroline (King) Brittain. He was a supervisor for Koch Industries in Wichita.
Survivors include a son, Steve T. Brittain (Tracy), Hudson; two brothers, John Brittain of Eastland, Texas and Stephen Dennis Brittain of Victorville, Calif.; three grandchildren, Sierra Lynn Pruett (Ryan), of St. John, and Jace and Jaron Brittain, of Hudson; and a great-grandchild, Kashton Lee Pruett of St. John. He was preceded in death by both parents; a daughter, Sherrilynn Brittain; and a brother, Jerry Brittain.
Private family inurnment service will take place at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Bethel-Hawley Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
