VINCENT — James W. Rajewski, 91, died Thursday, April 9, at the Rice County Hospital in Lyons.  born Feb. 12, 1924, he was the son of Joseph and Mary (Baier) Rajewski.  He married Marian (Kuhlman) on May 22, 1951, in Olmitz, Kansas.
Survivors include his wife, Marian, Sterling; four sons: John Rajewski and wife, Patty, Lincoln, Neb.; Michael Rajewski and wife, Betty, Hutchinson; Bob Rajewski, Vincent; Bill Rajewski and wife, Susan, Vincent; four daughters: Diane Martinez and husband John, McPherson; Jane Frenzl  and husband, Michael, Hays; Carolyn Rajewski and husband, Greg Zimmerman, Sault Sainte Marie, Mich.; Marie Schmidt and husband Andy, Olathe; two sisters, Doris Marie Wellbrock, New Iberia, La. and Rita Gibson and husband, Don, Firestone, Colo.; one sister-in-law, Lois Rajewski, New Iberia, La.; one brother-in-law, Don Nowak, Edmond, Okla.; 23 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 13, at The Basilica of St. Fidelis in Victoria. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery Vincent.  A vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, followed by a Knights of Columbus rosary both at Cline’s Mortuary, 412 Main Street, Victoria.  Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Monday, all at Cline’s Mortuary Victoria.
Memorials are suggested to the Concerned Descendants of the St. Boniface Cemetery, St. Boniface Catholic Church or the Sterling Presbyterian Manor.
