Jane Gaynell Smith, 70, passed away Nov. 8, 2020, at her home in Great Bend. She was born July 30, 1950, in Great Bend, to Melvin and Glenna (Bardel) Butherus.

Jane, a lifetime resident of Great Bend, was a desk clerk at Best Western Angus Inn and enjoyed Hallmark movies, cheering on the Denver Broncos, and above all, time spent with her grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Terry Bieberle and Kelly Henry and husband Raymond all of Great Bend; and three grandchildren, Meagan Henry, Justin Henry and Hannah Sexton.

Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, 2020, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Rev. Adam Wutka presiding. Inurnment will follow at Shaffer Cemetery, rural Albert, Kan. There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given to Kans for Kids, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
