HUDSON — Janice Florene Willinger, age 76, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018, at Stafford County Hospital, Stafford, Kan.
She was born March 2, 1942, in Stafford County to Kenneth H. and Ardena Florence (Eidson) Mawhirter. In 1965, Janice was united in marriage to Glenn Dean Willinger. Janice was a lifelong resident of Hudson, where she owned and operated the Country Express Bar for 25 years.
Survivors include, son, Jeff Reed, of Missouri; daughter, Connie Reed of Great Bend, Kan.; brothers, Terry Mawhirter, of St. John, Kan., Brent Mawhirter, of Stafford, Kan., and Randall Mawhirter, Cimmaron, Kan.; sisters, Judy Tanner, of St. John, Kan., Deanna Porter, of Hutchinson, Kan., and Leanna Lutz, of St. John, Kan.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, Gary Mawhirter; sister, Shirley Aumiller; grandchild, Jason Vargas.
Visitation will be held at Minnis Chapel in St. John, Kan., on Friday, June 8, 2018, from 1 p.m.-6 p.m., with family present from 4-6. Graveside service will be held at Trinity Cemetery, Hudson, Kan., on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 10 a.m., with Pastor Wade Russell presiding.
