Jeanette Holopirek 1985-2012

TIMKEN — Jeanette Holopirek, 27, died Aug. 13 at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City. She was born June 22, 1985 at Great Bend, the daughter of Terry and Alice (Penka) Holopirek. She was a longtime resident of Timken. Ms. Holopirek was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Timken and a 2003 Otis-Bison High School graduate.  She was active in Rush County 4-H.
She is survived by her father, Terry Holopirek, Great Bend, her mother, Alice Holopirek, Abilene; one sister, Diana Miller and her husband Matt of Abilene; and her paternal grandmother, Irene Holopirek, Timken. She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Al Holopirek; and maternal grandparents, August and Agnes Penka.
The vigil service is  7 p.m., Thursday, at Bryant Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m., Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Timken. The celebrant is Father Ultan Murphy. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Timken. Visitation is 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday at Bryant Funeral Home. The memorial fund is Golden Belt Humane Society or Rush County 4-H, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
